Jackson County Geographic Information System (GIS) Services is responsible for the development and maintenance of the County's digital spatial databases and for providing state-of-the-art mapping and data services to County departments, citizens, local governments, and businesses. Our web site was established to disseminate spatial information.
SmartMap is the term used to describe the databases, applications, and user interfaces that permit County staff, private business, and the public to access spatial information.
